Heat the oven to 425°F and make sure to wash the asparagus well.
Trim about 1.5 inches off the ends of the asparagus and throw them away.
Optionally, cut the asparagus into thirds.
Put the asparagus in a bowl with a lid, add salt, pepper, olive oil, and parmesan cheese. Close the lid and shake to mix everything together.
Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
For a crispy top, sprinkle more Parmesan cheese, add lemon slices, and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes.
